1. Who we are
RecordAware LLC provides Trip Check and Career Check research and planning services, including the tiers and bundles described at purchase. These Terms apply to the website and consumer services. Trip Check availability depends on eligible home states and supported destinations and routes. Career Check availability depends on the career and location listed in the service. Review current coverage before purchasing.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to create an account or purchase a Check. Do not create an account for a minor. Provide only the limited age-band or relationship information specifically requested when a minor-related fact matters to a trip. Protected account features require sign-in and two-step verification; keep your credentials and recovery codes private.
3. What RecordAware provides
Trip Check organizes supplied facts with relevant government, court, agency, operator, property, transportation and lodging research to identify travel questions and next steps. Career Check organizes credential and licensing requirements, relevant background and work-setting questions, and a roadmap for one person and one supported career goal. Career Check Plus adds researched training and workforce resources, published support information and planning tools; both tiers use the same licensing findings. Resources require direct confirmation of current availability and individual eligibility.
4. RecordAware is not a law firm
RecordAware is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Use does not create an attorney-client relationship. RecordAware does not make a binding determination about rights, obligations, admissibility, eligibility, registration, supervision permission, travel authorization, licensing or access to government or private property.
5. No guarantee of an outcome
A Check is research and navigation, not approval from a government, court, supervising authority, licensing body, school, employer, carrier, hotel, attraction, cruise line or registry. RecordAware does not guarantee travel entry or permission, a license, training admission, funding, employment or another outcome. The responsible authorities and organizations make their own decisions.
6. Verification and unresolved issues
Some questions depend on exact records, dates, orders, classifications, policies or discretionary decisions that cannot responsibly be resolved from the information available. Unresolved items may require verification. Completing an Action Center task or writing a note records your progress; it does not change RecordAware's findings or establish approval.
7. Your information and responsibilities
Provide information accurate to the best of your knowledge and verify important facts before acting. A purchased Career report uses the answers submitted for that purchase; reopening it or editing notes does not replace those answers. Do not submit unrequested sensitive identifiers, passwords, victim identities, full case files or medical records. You are responsible for the contents of your notes and any report you choose to share.
8. Sources can change
Laws, procedures, court orders, licensing requirements, operator and school policies, schedules, costs and other sources can change. Source dates describe the research reviewed; a delivered Check does not promise that every condition remains unchanged. Resolve important open questions before nonrefundable travel decisions, tuition commitments, commercial driving or other actions that depend on permission or eligibility.
9. Purchases and payments
Checks and bundles are one-time purchases at the price shown before payment, not subscriptions or unlimited-use plans. Checkout presents applicable discounts and taxes. Stripe processes payment details. Your account may show order totals, amounts charged, payment or refund status and available receipt links. Returning-customer prices apply only when offered for an eligible purchase and do not stack with bundle pricing. Career and bundle purchase details describe those products. A Trip + Career bundle includes one Complete Trip Plan and one Career Check at the purchased tier for the same person and verified account; its Career benefit remains limited to the Texas electrician goal promised at purchase. Coverage applies independently to each portion. A valid purchased report can be reopened without another charge; a new assessment requires a separate purchase. Refunding a bundle removes access to both portions.
10. Refund and correction policy
The Refund and Correction Policy applies to purchase problems. Contact RecordAware about duplicate or incorrect charges, material technical failures, nondelivery or material source or processing errors. Career and bundle purchase details also apply to those products. A changed plan, unfavorable research result, later source change or independent third-party decision does not by itself establish a refund right. Applicable consumer rights remain in effect.
11. Personal-use license
Your Check is for your personal planning and recordkeeping. You may save, print and share your own report as reasonably needed for your trip or career planning. Do not scrape, bulk-copy, resell, republish as a competing service, defeat access controls, interfere with the service or obtain or distribute information unlawfully. A professional inquiry or contact request does not create a partnership, authorize access to customer reports or establish a referral or sponsored-service arrangement.
12. Service availability
The beta is a developing service. Features, supported careers, destinations, routes and presentation may change. RecordAware may pause or refuse a purchase when research coverage is insufficient or important facts require verification before payment. A destination request helps inform research priorities; it does not promise coverage, a release date or an approval.
13. Third-party decisions and services
Links and resources may point to agencies, courts, supervising authorities, schools, training providers, employers, support organizations, operators or payment services. RecordAware does not control their independent decisions, policies, availability or conduct. A listed resource or professional inquiry does not by itself establish a partnership, endorsement, individual acceptance or funding approval.
14. Privacy
The Privacy Notice describes information handling, browser and account storage, saved notes, payments, analytics and communications. Use of the service is subject to that notice. Provide only the information needed for the selected feature.
15. Versioned acceptance
Paid checkout may record the policy versions presented, your affirmative acceptance, and its date and time. Separate career or bundle scope acknowledgments may also be recorded. A new version does not replace the acceptance record for an earlier purchase.
16. Nonwaivable rights
Nothing in these Terms waives or limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit to be waived or limited.
17. Contact
For support, purchase problems or corrections, email recordawareguide@proton.me. Include enough account, report or order information to locate the issue, without passwords, full card numbers or unnecessary sensitive records.
