RecordAware Terms of Use — Current Consumer Beta

Version: 2026-09-27.consumer-beta-v2

Effective: September 27, 2026

1. Who we are

RecordAware LLC provides RecordAware and its Trip Check service. These Terms apply to RecordAware's limited consumer beta, currently available to eligible customers whose home state is Texas, Florida, or California, subject to supported route and destination coverage.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a Trip Check. Do not create an account for a minor. If a minor-related fact is relevant to a trip, provide only the limited age-band or relationship information the service specifically requests.

3. What RecordAware provides

RecordAware is a travel research, issue-spotting, verification, and planning product. A Trip Check organizes customer-supplied facts with government, court, agency, operator, property, transportation, lodging, and other relevant sources to help identify issues that may affect a trip and actions that may need to be completed before booking or travel.

4. RecordAware is not a law firm

RecordAware is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Using RecordAware does not create an attorney-client relationship. RecordAware does not make a binding legal determination about your rights, obligations, admissibility, eligibility, registration status, supervision permission, authorization to travel, or ability to enter or use any government or private property.

5. No guarantee of an outcome

A Trip Check is not government, court, supervising-authority, carrier, hotel, attraction, cruise line, immigration, registry, or other third-party approval. RecordAware cannot guarantee admission, entry, permission, booking acceptance, operator treatment, legal compliance, or any other travel outcome. Government agencies and private operators make their own decisions.

6. Verification and unresolved issues

Some questions depend on exact records, dates, orders, statutory classifications, operator policies, discretionary decisions, or other facts that RecordAware cannot responsibly resolve from the information available. When an issue remains uncertain, RecordAware may identify it as requiring verification rather than guessing or presenting uncertainty as clearance.

7. Your information and responsibilities

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and for updating material trip facts when they change. Do not submit information that the service does not request, including Social Security numbers, victim identities, unnecessary full dates of birth, registry identifiers, passwords, graphic narratives, or complete case files when a narrower fact will answer the relevant question.

8. Sources can change

RecordAware uses source and verification dates because laws, regulations, agency procedures, court orders, operator policies, schedules, property rules, and other information can change. A delivered Trip Check does not promise that every source or condition will remain unchanged after delivery. Important open verification items should be resolved before relying on a result or making nonrefundable travel decisions.

9. Purchases and payments

Consumer beta Trip Checks are one-time purchases at the price shown at checkout. They are not subscriptions. Payment-card information is collected and processed through the payment processor. RecordAware receives transaction and payment-status information needed to fulfill the purchase but does not require you to provide full card numbers or card security codes directly to RecordAware.

10. Refund and correction policy

The RecordAware Refund and Correction Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Duplicate charges, material technical failures, inability to provide a purchased Trip Check, and material RecordAware source or processing errors are handled under that policy. A changed travel plan, an unfavorable research result, a later change in law or policy, or a decision made by a government agency or private operator does not by itself establish a refund right.

11. Personal-use license

Your Trip Check is provided for your personal travel planning and recordkeeping. You may save, print, and share your own report as reasonably necessary for your trip. You may not scrape, bulk-copy, resell, republish as a competing database or service, defeat access controls, interfere with the service, or misuse RecordAware to obtain or distribute information unlawfully.

12. Service availability

The consumer beta is a developing service. Features, source coverage, supported routes, and presentation may change. RecordAware may refuse or pause a purchase when the service does not have sufficient support for the requested trip or when material facts require additional verification before payment.

13. Third-party decisions and services

RecordAware may identify or link to government agencies, courts, supervising authorities, transportation providers, payment processors, hotels, attractions, and other third parties. RecordAware does not control those parties and is not responsible for their independent decisions, availability, policies, or conduct.

14. Privacy

Use of RecordAware is also subject to the RecordAware Privacy Notice. The service is designed to minimize unnecessary sensitive information and to separate account, payment, security, and trip-research functions where practical.

15. Versioned acceptance

When you complete paid checkout, RecordAware may record the version of these Terms and related policies presented to you, your affirmative acceptance, and the associated date and time so that the purchase has an auditable acceptance record.

16. Nonwaivable rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit to be waived or limited.

17. Contact

Questions, correction requests, and support requests may be submitted through the support or contact method made available in the RecordAware service.
