Residence Check · In development

A clearer path to your next place.

Residence Check is being developed to help people with criminal records understand address, housing, and release-planning questions. Research will distinguish state and local laws, supervision and placement conditions, and individual property policies, while identifying what requires confirmation before making a housing decision.

Address requirementsUnderstand which state and local questions may affect a location.
Supervision & placementIdentify conditions that need confirmation with the responsible authority.
Housing policiesKeep property screening and admission policies separate from legal requirements.
Practical next stepsOrganize source-backed questions before committing to a move.

TRIP CHECK

Travel destinations

For residents of Texas, Florida and California. Each trip must pass the current destination and route coverage check. Coverage availability does not establish individual trip eligibility or travel permission.

TexasView coverageCOVERAGE AVAILABLE
U.S. destination

Research for supported Texas destinations covers relevant state and local rules, lodging and operator policies, transportation requirements and considerations, and supervision conditions. Coverage for your exact location and route is checked for each trip.

FloridaView coverageCOVERAGE AVAILABLE
U.S. destination

Research covers destination rules, rules specific to your destination and property, lodging options, operator policies, and transportation requirements and considerations. Record-related requirements are reviewed when they apply to your circumstances. Your exact destination and route must pass the current coverage check.

MexicoView coverageCOVERAGE AVAILABLE
International destination

Research covers tourist-entry requirements, how criminal history may affect admission, entry and additional immigration review procedures, passport and document readiness, supervision conditions, and operator policies. International travel notification and passport identification requirements are reviewed when applicable. Coverage depends on the supported destination, travel market and route. Mexican authorities make admission decisions; completing a Trip Check does not guarantee entry.

CaliforniaView coverageCOVERAGE AVAILABLE

Rules specific to your destination and property, and record-related requirements, are reviewed when they apply to your circumstances. Home-state access and expanding coverage

Current customer beta access is open to Texas, Florida and California residents. Conviction, registration, supervision, destination and operator jurisdictions remain separate facts and are evaluated when relevant.

Additional states and destinations will be added as research and QA mature. Research in progress does not mean a customer Check is available.

No source, no claim.

And when the source itself is unclear, the answer should be clear about that uncertainty.

01
Primary sources first

Statutes, licensing authorities, government guidance, official forms, and published operator or program requirements.

02
Law, private policy and personal experience stay separate

Statutes and government rules, private-company policies, and traveler-reported outcomes remain separate evidence classes. None is silently substituted for another.

03
Conflicts remain visible

Superseded or conflicting official guidance is flagged rather than silently averaged into an answer.

04
Fact ≠ application

The product separates what a source says from how it may apply to the person’s supplied information.

05
Commercial relationships never influence research conclusions.

Affiliate or booking relationships, if added later, remain separate from research conclusions and alternative ranking.

06
Structured research—not AI verdicts

Checks connect your supplied facts with researched requirements, source records and visible verification states. Unresolved questions remain open rather than becoming an assumed favorable answer.

Built for trust.

RecordAware is built to help people navigate real-world barriers—not maximize clicks, attention, or advertising revenue.
